Dr Phil Landon’s experience in heterogeneous catalysis is both broad and deep, covering various characterisation techniques, preparation methodologies and reactor types. During his ten years at Sasol he worked in many areas, including Fischer Tropsch synthesis, refinery catalysis, direct conversion of methane to useful products and phenol methylation. An important focus area was the development of in situ/operando capabilities for the St Andrews laboratory, such as IR/Raman and XRD.
Here he is in front of our PANalytical X’Pert Pro MPD instrument. Contact us to find out more.
